The Panama Flying Pumas "Panther" is an exceptionally rare, micro-batch specialty coffee. Named in honor of the big wild cats (pumas, jaguars, panthers) roaming the borders of its estate, this specific lot represents the pinnacle of the farm's high-altitude Geisha production.
The farm itself spans 180 hectares, but only 60 hectares are planted with coffee, while the remaining 120 hectares are preserved as an untouched native forest sanctuary bordering La Amistad International Park. Because they prioritize biodiversity over yield, the "Panther" micro-lot yields an incredibly low total volume—often totaling only around 500 grams to a few kilograms for an entire roast season.
The estate rocketed to fame after China Barista Champion Sun Lei utilized Flying Pumas Geisha to place 2nd at the World Barista Championship, making these micro-lots highly sought after by global competition baristas and high-end roasters.
